Powder coating
that survives
real life.
We coat metal for people who can't afford to redo it. Industrial, automotive, and architectural finishes engineered for the Midwest climate — and built to outlast whatever comes next.
Four disciplines.
One standard of finish.
Industrial Coating
Heavy equipment, structural steel, and production frames. Epoxy and hybrid systems engineered for chemical exposure and abrasion.

Automotive
Wheels, chassis, and underbody components.

Architectural
AAMA 2605-compliant finishes for facades and frames.

Custom & Specialty
Veined metallics, textured blacks, candy finishes. If it exists as a powder, we can apply it — and match it across production runs.

Built by coaters.
Run by coaters.
The difference between a finish that lasts a season and one that lasts a decade isn't the powder — it's everything around it. Pretreatment chemistry. Ground continuity. Oven dwell time. We obsess over the parts nobody sees.
Our 48,000 square foot facility in Grand Rapids runs two independent coating cells, so a rush job never pushes production work out the door.
- In-house media blasting and chemical pretreatment
- Real-time film-thickness verification on every rack
- Salt-spray and impact testing on request
- Full lot traceability from intake to shipment
The sectors that trust us with their finish.
Agriculture
Implements and equipment that live outdoors.
Construction
Structural steel, railings, and architectural metal.
Automotive
Aftermarket parts, restoration, and OE suppliers.
Furniture
Contract and commercial-grade steel fixtures.
Energy
Enclosures, brackets, and utility infrastructure.
Food Processing

Six steps.
No shortcuts.
Every job — from a single bracket to a ten-thousand-piece run — goes through the same line.
-
1
Intake & Inspection
Parts logged, photographed, and flagged for any surface defects before they enter the line.
-
2
Blast & Pretreat
Media blasting or 7-stage iron phosphate, depending on substrate and finish spec.
-
3
Masking
Threads, bores, and contact surfaces masked with high-temp silicone and tape.
-
4
Powder Application
Electrostatic application in a controlled booth. Film thickness measured wet and cured.
-
5
Curing
Batch ovens held at spec temperature for the full dwell time — no shortcuts on cure.
-
6
QC & Release
Adhesion, thickness, and visual checks logged per lot. Parts packed for shipment.
We've run every coating vendor in West Michigan at some point. Northline is the only one that has never shipped us a bad lot. Their pretreat line is what makes the difference — you can feel it in the first winter.
